Sightsee 2 days in Venice

An informal trip [on your own] but with the companionship of others, lots of fun and great views, shopping, food and laughter.

Should you wish to join this informal trip, we arrive at VCE [Venice Airport] on September 17th and leave September 23rd. You can easily arrange a car, bus, or van alone or with group, from VCE to Cortina d’ Ampezzo, our base camp for our hikes; also the home of the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Our hikes will range from 1-5 hours, or refrain from hiking and  take the cable cars to the top of our hikes, sit down and enjoy the views until we meet you at the Mountain Huts for lunch. Lots to see, even if you stay in town and only meet up for dinners. And yes, even shopping.  

We return to Venice on September 21st for sightseeing to the Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark’s Square, a trip on the canal and of course, a fabulous Italian feast.

AUGUST 22 UPDATES: Accommodations have been found in Cortina d’ Ampezzo. Make your reservations ASAP so you are in the same place as others. Day hikes reviewed and excitement building. Make sure you register to stay in the know with specifics.
